If you are self publishing your own book, you will need a 13 character ISBN barcode on the back cover.

Computer programs to generate an ISBN barcode graphic can be difficult to use, expensive or both.

To use it:

1. Type in the first 12 digits of your book's ISBN (the 13^th digit is a check digit which is calculated automatically)
2. Specify what size you want the barcode to be on your book cover. An inch and a half wide is the typical size.
3. Specify what resolution (pixels per inch) you are using for your book cover design graphic.
4. Choose an output (png) file location.
5. Click OK.

ISBNBarcodeGen will then generate a graphic of your barcode, saving it in the specified file. The graphic is saved in the industry standard PNG format which will be compatible with all modern graphics applications. Simply copy and paste it into the appropriate position in your book cover graphic and job done.
